does it make sense to you?
Favorite Answer
Sense is a word with many meanings in the dictionary, but the one to look at here is the one I’ve repeated so much: “meaning.” The person is asking if what they wrote before the sentence held any meaning for you.
‘Does it make sense to you’ is often used in two contexts.
1. when a person wants to make sure if you have understood something.
2. When a person is not sure about something and wants you to look through it and make sure its right.
People may say ‘Does this sentence make sense to you?’
What they are trying to say is ‘I hope you can understand what is written’ or ‘Does this sentence sound grammatically correct.’
