I had to get my **** together and fast!! Tomorrow was my girlfriend Silva’s birthday and I had to come up with something special! My good friend Oscar was trying to help me come up with a good idea. Last year I had dressed up as Daffy Duck and it was not a pretty site! Oscar had to rub my face in it!

“Did you really think that your Daffy Duck imitation would win her over??” Actually I had!!!!!!! Daffy me!!!!

I had waddled up to her smacking my big yellow rubber “lips” together. “Wanna kiss baby” I said. She had looked at my costume and shook her head. “I need a kiss from you like I need another migraine……Okay…. Just one”. It had not gone well! The word was “fiasco”!!!!!!

I wanted this time to be different! Oscar was being of no real help and was actually getting on my nerves! I shooed him out so I could concentrate and think!

I poured myself a brandy and got down to some serious planning.

Suddenly The face at the window was that of ……DAFFY DUCK!!!!!!! I rushed to let him in! He was madder than a wet hen(sorry!)!!!!!

“YOU IDIOT ” he said “Next time you impersonate me, you can at least have the decency to wear a good costume”. I shuddered as I thought of the ill-fitting yellow rubber lips. He offered me a few pointers and left.

At that moment I heard a knock on the door. I shook my head to try and clear it. I just had a horrific hallucination….I must have fallen assleep and had that strange dream of Daffy Duck visiting me! I made a mental note to lay off the brandy!

I went to answer the door “OH MY GOD…..it really IS you!!!!!

Daffy Duck was standing there wearing the yellow rubber lips and laughing!!!!
