can a person be sacrosanct?
As used in a paper refering to a greatly hallowed and respected leader of a synagogue… “Reuven is able to talk through his troubles and vent his anger about Danny and his SACROSANCT father.”
is this grammatically correct? can the word be used in that context?
thanks!

I believe a person can be sacrosanct. It is an adjective used to describe something that is either sacred, or something that is beyond criticism or change. If Danny’s father is sacrosanct, then he must not allow his mind to be open to interference from outside influences. I would take that to mean that his father is very set in his ways and will never be willing to so much as consider changing his views of life or some other topic.
