Mnemonic –

They are mostly verbal, e.g a word, each of whose letters help the user to remember the first letters of items in a list.

Mnemonic is pronounced new-mon-ic.

I Saw My Niece Ella Carry the Large Dog Rover Up River.

MR GRR Dined At Cathy And Edwards.

I saw my neighbor eagerly chasing cold lemon drops running up rocks.

My red giraffe rapidly regurgitated doughnuts and coffee and éclairs.

Pretty bad, huh?

Ok – You try it. Usually the sillier the sentence, the better you remember it.
