Would you cheat?

Imagine that your school has take-home tests. You are stressed out because you’re failing the class and you have only one chance left to turn your grade around. Looking at the test at your room, you know that you are going to bomb the test if you don’t cheat. The book is right in front of you… what do you do?

usually when you get take-home tests you’re expected to find the answer in the book and mark it correctly. Otherwise you would have to have taken the test in class or in a class with a monitor. The problem arises when you mark the tests but don’t know the material. If you don’t know the material then either the course is not interesting because it’s not in like with your career or you don’t know how to study or apply the material. You need to learn the material one way or other if you want to graduate.

The purpose of schooling is to 1) teach you (and you learn) specific things like reading, writing, english, spelling, math, science, etc. and enough so you can choose a career for yourself, and 2) for the purpose of teaching you how to study and learn. so you must be successful at both.

If the school sends the test home, I would consider it an open book test and use the book. I don’t think that is cheating. If the school didn’t want you to use the book they wouldn’t let you take it home.

I think the school which give home-take home tests in the 21 century deserve your cheating.Play a devil!! just kidding .I think it would be the great lesson for you. Cheat alittle !just to pass the exam and promis eyourself to compansate for all shortcomings, but if you know that you will break your promise never cheat .You will be accustomed to it ,addicted to it and this time would be the first not the last.

In my experience take-home tests are open book.

There would be no way to police otherwise.
