Will i be able have a chance of being accepted into Stanford???

I go to a small foreign school in Korea and i do not have american citizenship.

I would like to go to a top school like Stanford, but my school doesn’t offer any honors classes and only offers 2 AP courses. My GPA is good but i dont do much extra curricular activities.

Also my family isn’t rich so they cant pay for the school fees.

Would i have a chance of going to Stanford

It will be difficult, as it would be for anyone. I would contact Stanford by email and ask an admissions counselor if I were you. They will give you a realistic view because they do not want you to waste money on the application fee if you are not a good candidate. Good luck, and do not forget that there are many good schools in the US that your parents will not have heard of, but will also give you an excellent education.

BTW, I used to live in Korea. The math, and probably the science courses you have taken on high school are at AP level. Ask someone at Stanford to look over your class syllabi.

Realistically Kim mungho, you have a chance that equates to less than 1 percent. Stanford, to begin with, prefers to admit mostly American students and therefore their international applicants are less wanted. That means that kids from outside the States must be purely exceptional or genius to gain entrance into such an university. since Stanford takes into account that you are a foreigner your application won’t have much merit as compared to an American student with similar grades and talent. Also FEW or NO EXTRA CURRICUL. MEANS REJECTION. Thats just the way it is man. If I were you i would just go to a Korean university(heard Seoul nat’l University is like as hard as Harvard to get into) Well Good luck and remember that a good university does not in any way guarantee a good job or ultimately a better life!

Not likely. You don’t give any reasons why someone would want to waive tuition, never mind travel and living expenses.
