why people like University of Florida (UF) instead of UCF?
i hear many saying ” wow UF is a very good school”… tell me what makes it so.

Because of their football and basketball teams. UF is no better than any other college in Florida, it just depends on what major you are going into. People are simple minded and think that if a school is ranked higher in some third rate “news” magazine, then they take it for fact. In reality those rankings are meaningless.
UF treats their undergrads like crap and they know they can get away with it since so many people want to go there.
UF just has name recognition from their football and basketball teams. It doesn’t make UF a better or worse school than any other university in Florida. I know a lot of people have big egos and like telling people that UF is better than any other school because of the rankings but those people are stupid and have huge inferiority complexes.
Go to the school you like most and that will support you in your goals. Be damn what anybody else thinks. It’s your education and not their’s.
