I have 4 months until I’m done with school for good. I went straight through and got 2 bachelors and a master’s in 5 years. Looking back, my freshman year of college was no doubt the most fun and exciting by a mile. I envy your position in life.

Advice:

-Study really hard Monday-Thursday

-Drink with friends on weekends, but avoid MIPs and DUIs

-Get involved in student organizations and volunteer activities

-Save yourself the time and break up with any high-school sweetheart you might have

-Go ahead and have lots of sex (but be safe about it)

-Get the very best grades you possibly can your first year. It’s pretty easy to keep your GPA high if you start out high… and it’s really really hard to bring it up if you start out low.

Why are you so excited about college? It will come soon enough. Are you excited about pulling all nighters, being frustrated to tears, being constantly ripped off and lied to, indoctrinated with liberal ideas, suffering from horrible hangovers, eating ramen noodles for dinner (shrimp flavor of course)? I think I know why you are excited… college students are allowed to phuck up just because they are in college and society thinks that their little acts of immortality and irresponsible behavior is cute and rebellious. That’s why I LOVVEEEED college for a while, but now it’s getting old and I want a real job. If you are at all serious about receiving a high quality of education, you spend the majority of the time in the library studying, and that’s not even fun.

I’m not even a freshman and I can’t wait. This will be my last year (geez, that’s scary. I don’t want it to be over already.) I just can’t wait to get back to school in a city I actually like instead of this place. I hate summer. lol. Whoever said “you can’t go home again” was right.

I leave in 9 days to go back. Man, I need to start packing.

Good luck with your first year of college! You’ll love it, it’s a blast… and over with far too quickly, so enjoy it while you can. 🙂

I cant. I move down on Aug 17 and class starts Aug 20 and rush starts Aug 21. I am so excited, wish i could move in early.

I am also eager for College to start. I am a senior and this is my last semester and I have only one class left to earn my degree!!
