Most colleges are accepting applications for fall 2008 by the end of this month, so you *can* send them now.

Some colleges have application deadlines as early as January 15th, though most give you until March, and in real life you can just stroll in and register the week before classes at the big state universities, as long as you do not need financial aid.

If you are trying to get accepted to a college that is very competitive or seeking financial aid, you best get looking ASAP.

Now! You should be looking at those you’re interested in and also looking for financial packages that you might qualify for.

When my daughter was a junior in high school, she applied to 9 different colleges. We visited each one during the school year and during break times to see what goes on at each one. We actually visited some several times. She had her favorites and actually was offered various academic scholarships at 8 of them.

It took until the spring of her senior year to find out which colleges were most interested in her. Turns out that the one she wanted to attend the most was the last one to offer a financial package and admission.

She’s a Sophomore chemistry major now at Fordham U. in New York on a full academic scholarship. If she hadn’t applied early, she wouldn’t have been going there … the competition is very tough! Don’t wait!!

You Should start now… You need to look at the school’s deadlines each one is going to be different, most are Dec 1. Some have early admissions, some are rolling admission. Narrow done the schools and start filling out the apps. Also dont forget about scholarships and FAFSA form for federal aide. Hope this helps.

Yeah right now would be a good time to start. I believe most deadlines are in January 2008 so send them early to get a response by March-May.

Application deadlines for starting college in fall 2008 are in late fall 2007. You should be checking out colleges and charting what their application process requires, and when it’s due, now.

You should have definitely already been looking. You need to apply relatively soon, unless you’re planning on going to a local or community college, then usually you don’t have to apply all that early.

yesterday. College planning really should start your freshman year. Most colleges have prerequisites you must have before you can enroll. If you have an Idea where you want to study, ask their admissions counsilor if you qualify or how to qualify for enrollment.
