no jokes i really need a good one for a somewhat strict prof. it has to be something that doesnt require documentation

why did you miss it? This is the time when you can actually make something of your self. Do you think those Chinese and Indian students are also taking 2 weeks off like you do. Our students already do bad in schools. Keep up or else you would be working under one of your classmates.

I think you should be punished. This is the only way you will learn your lesson.

i am just curious, but what did make you miss 2 weeks that you seem to be too embarassed to tell your prof?

if it is due to being irresponsible, i suppose advising you to be honest and own up to your actions won’t work.

if it is because of a valid reason, then tell the truth and see how that works.

chances are, if you don’t have documentation for 2 weeks the prof will assume you don’t have a good reason, and treat you accordingly.

Even the strictest of teachers want the best outcomes for their students. Go and talk to the professor frankly and honestly. But also go in with a plan of how you would propose to make up the missed work. Teachers love it when you take the initiative to say that you will complete the work.

If you possibly can, go in with at least one assignement missed completed. This will also show your good faith and attempt to catch up.

Don’t go in with an excuse – the truth is always BEST.

Strict prof? No documentation? Two weeks? Good luck with that. Even the lenient ones would want documentation for that amount of time. I don’t know, maybe alien abduction, and they refused to write you a note after the anal probes.

A “somewhat strict” professor? You think it’s acceptable to miss two weeks of a college class? Since you must be very smart to think you don’t need to go to class, you should be able to come up with a brilliant excuse on your own. I mean, professors are stupid enough to fall for anything, right? Jeez. I teach at a college; believe me, this professor is going to see right through you.

Tell the truth. Even most strict professors are borderline communists, and will probably let you off because of your sob story that you didn’t have insurance. It will make him/her angry at the government.

But a question? Don’t most colleges require students to have health insurance?

If class attendance is not graded and you didn’t miss any major projects or exams. Don’t sweat it. Just start catching up.

Otherwise, you are in trouble. Did you go to the doctor? If so, then get the documentation, so you can take make ups.

On the other hand, you should of let them know before hand of your situation.

Your own death is about the only thing, and at that they will want a copy of your obituary notice in the paper. There is no reason on earth except sickness, death of a family member, that any would except. All of which can be documented and they will require it to be so. I am sorry but that is just how they are. Your best bet is to go in and be honest and beg for forgiveness and hope he/she is in a really good mood. Best of luck!!

Don’t worry about dat ,u are not doing purposely it may unexpectedly happend, just u wanna do collecting notes &study materials from your friendz go through concentrately then which doubt you have go and ask subject teacher as well as yyour friendz those are getting first rank in your class
