What’s the best type of journals to take notes for chemistry and biology?
Would you guys recommend spiral notebook, composition, or loose leaf notebook paper and a binder.
What is the best? and why?

Everyone has their own preference. I’d start with a spiral notebook w/pockets and see how that works for you; if it doesn’t it’s very easy to switch over to a binder later. I’m not a fan of the composition notebooks at all–if it doesn’t work out it’s difficult to switch over to another system since the pages don’t tear out easily.
