The middle 50% GPA range is 3.53-3.88 for Fall 2007 admitted students.
Berkeley looks at GPA, completion of lower division prerequisite courses for the intended college and/or major, and grade trends for transfer applicants. Other factors considered include: demonstrated interest in the major, personal qualities such as leadership or motivation, extracurricular accomplishments, employment, and/or potential contribution to the intellectual and cultural vitality of the campus.
