What is the minimal amount of education you need to take the CPA exam?
I am going into accounting in the fall and I will be receiving my 2 year degree. (A.A.S. degree). Eventually I will go back to school for a B.S. degree but would I be able to take the CPA exam after I earned by 2 year degree? Or is there no educational requirement but it simply isn’t very likely that I would be able to pass seeing as it is such a difficult exam and 2 years of education might not be enough for me to do well on it?
Thanks

It will depend on the state you are being licensed in. Some states not only require specific education levels but also specific classes that you will need to take. you can check out your state’s licensing board website for the specifics
