Try this website: www.rfbd.org. They have textbooks on CD. Listen to the CDs while you read along in the book, it will help you read faster.

You should speak to your school counselor. You may have a learning disorder. There are tests to determine which learning disorder you may have. After being tested, it will be easier for you and the counselor to determine which course of action would make it easier for you to learn. I am dyslexic. For the first few years of school it was very difficult for me, they even wanted to put me in special education classes. When it was determined that I was not retarded, but that I had to learn differently, I then made A’s and B’s the rest of the time I was in school.

Spend more time on your work. Also, you can train yourself to read faster – probably getting some computer software to work on this is the best way. You will need constant practice of the right sort to improve.

There are audio books that can help you better. But schools also have learning centers that you can go to for extra help with whatever subject you are having trouble with. Take advantage of them because they really do help you.

most textbooks are available on tape ( maybe DVD now) for the blind.
you could use those sorts of recordings.
