What is a leadership position that helps the most with college applications? (if any)?
Is it important to be president and vice-president of clubs you are in to get into a better college or a greater chance of a college accepting you than being a secretary, treasurer, historian, or any other positions?
Also what would be helpful for colleges to show that you’ve taken leadership if you consisitently volunteer work even if you did not necessarily start a volunteer project?

I don’t think it matters what position you have within clubs or organizations. Just being a part of a group you’ll gain leadership skills that you can take into your career field with you. Each meeting you attend, gives you a better insight as to what a good leader does, how they act, and what you can do to become like them. I’ve personally never had the guts to become president because I’m quiet, but I have been the secretary of several clubs and I’ve learned just as much about leadership as the next person.
Same thing with volunteering for projects. You’ve watched a project come together, you’ve seen the work going into it. You’ve taken time out of your schedule to help with it. I think that shows a good effort towards leadership.
