What is a good way to get to sleep when I am having trouble?

I will probably not get a very good answer becacuse the only ones reading this are like me and are up at 4:30 AM hahaha…

Well have you tried praying? (seriously it works!)

alternatively chamomile tea

alternatively read a book (but must be lying down)

alternatively tape one of your lectures to play while you lie in bed

alternatively find a tape of someone with a really monitone voice giving a talk – that works – make sure it is not something you are interested in.

And in case you think i can’t sleep -i’m down under so it is still daytime! At night I sleep – becuase I ‘m very good at it 😉

These ideas may not help, but for what they are worth (and/or if not already tried): cut back on caffeine, get some exercise during the day (not too late as it can wake you up), listen to calming music, could try not thinking too much or do things like Answers as it can stimulate your brain and keeps you alert and awake, dark room, and if you are tossing and turning, get up for a while and do something calming like reading if it helps – probably more restful. Good luck.
