Grade levels aren’t as meaningful at the college level because many students start later in their lives, attend part time, or take breaks in the middle.

That being said, the term “K-16 education” refers to kindergarten through senior year of college. So it’s possible to call the undergraduate years “grades 13-16.” But you won’t see people actually doing this very often. You’re much more likely to hear terms such as “sophomore year” or “second year of college” with no reference to a grade level.

there are no “grades” like in high school. most colleges do class codes based on how many credits you have earned.
