What does it take to become a rn?
I am wanting to become an rn and was wondering if anyone knew what schools you have to take. I’m trying to find something in kansas city mo, but if you know of any website that might help anything would be appreciated!! Thanks!

there are four yr rn programs and two yr rn college programs and you get the same state rn lic (atleast in Louisiana) not sure bout any school in your area. check out the local univ web sites and look at what degrees they offer..talking to the nursing div at some area hospitals could give you some help… good luck!!!nursing is a great field if the desire comes from the heart….

You need an associates degree in nursing and then a license. Most colleges have nursing programs, but be sure to start early because a lot have waiting lists/tight requirements to get in. Check out the websites for colleges you are interested in, most list nursing under academics.
