Leadership, a lot of community service, 1st place in an art contest and 2nd place in an essay contest, ability to speak more than one language fluently, good teacher and counselor recommendations, unique approach to essays, worked part time while in high school, helped support family, raised by a single mom, from a small town, 6 month internship at a doctor’s office
