Well that depends if you GPA is a 3.9 or a 1.5. There are a lot of schools that accept students with GPAs below a 4.0, actually they probably all do. A GPA of 3.6 with a ton of extracurriculars, leadership experience, and volunteer work is more appealing to college admissions offices than a student with a 4.0 who spent all his or her time studying and watching tv.
