Favorite Answer
Accounting has many options that range from low salaries to very high salaries in a relatively short period of time compared to other careers.
Finance, financial advising – if you’re sales oriented.
Marketing/branding – if your ambitious, resourceful and creative…
Nursing has a lot of money in it, but also requires a lot of time spent at work.
Good luck!
The most important question should be, what is it that I would like to do. Your career is about your life. Studies have shown that the things we love to do, we do them very well, and happy at it, therefore, we make the promotions, network with people, people will beat a path to your door, and you will make the “money”. When I studied at University of Illinois, I remember many colleagues that went into a field because of the money, years later, they were unhappy, depressed because they did not like what they were doing, hours, people and organizations or companies they worked for.
Think about what you want to do in the future (this might change as we go into the 21st century) but your major is your foundation, remember you will be doing it for a long time.
