wanting to start college part time but work are refusing to give me 1 day off can they do that ???
I TOLD MY WORK FROM MY AGES AGO THAT I WAS STARTING COLLEGE FOR 1 DAY A WEEK AND THEY SAID IT WAS OK TO DO THAT, NOW THAT COLLEGE IS STARTING THEY ARE REFUSING TO GIVE ME THE DAY OFF HELP I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO?

Speak again with your employer and let them know you had an agreement (next time get it in writing; this way, they can’t back out). If they still don’t agree, you might want to change your schedule, such as taking an online class or night class. Also, you may want to contact the school and speak directly with the Registrar or an advisor and ask what you should do.
