In this day and age and with the politics and all changing for the worse in the health industry I would go for vet. Plus they don’t complain, talk back, easier to work with, not as long of hours, very rewarding, the owners appreciate the work you do more. It really comes down to whether you like working with people or animals. You probably won’t have to worry about malpractice insurance like you would if you worked in private or hospital.

It depends on where you want to work. In the US and Canada, doctors are needed — well I guess around the world they are needed.
Veterinarians are also needed mostly in 1st world countries like north american countries, and some european countries.
Both ensure good future but in my opinion, there’s more job security being a human doctor — especially because there are a lot of people retiring now (baby booms) and a lot needing medical care.
In the end, it depends on whether you like dealing with people or animals.

Animals because they don’t talk or complain. Tufts has a good vet program.
