WAS HYPER?

You are on here as krystal and Krissy asking the same questions over and over. Calm down – actually finish at least a year and a half before you start to think about transfering. You need top grades and if you don’t sit down and listen to people you won’t get there.

College and Universities care about a few things, your HS spec Ed would not be one of them. They will look at your grades from your Community College transcript, your admissions application essay, and any letters of reference from your Professors. Don’t get many withdrawals. If you want your GPA to move up, take a course again. DOn’t overload yourself either. You don’t have to graduate a 2 yr school in 2 years.

And yes, you can DO ANYTHING!!! Be ANYTHING.

Make sure you are taking the courses that will transfer to Northeastern and also the humanities/social sciences too. Look them up, get their prereq’s, heck you can even visit an adviser. But make sure it is an adviser inside the department where you will concentrating.

I see no problem with you going on to university. So what, you were in a sped class or 2; it will remain in your records but it’s no big deal. What’s important is what you are doing now. Your good grades in community college will show a university that you are up to the rigors of university courses. The activities you are in show that you are able to participate in more than just academics

Don’t let your past control your future. Grab your dream and fly with it!

Once you get your community college associates degree, the next college will mainly focus on that. They won’t care if you were in a class for hyper kids.

Then, once you get your bachelor’s degree, the next school won’t even look at your high school record at all, because it’s not relevant anymore.

I’m pretty sure that being in special education doesn’t matter anymore… it just depends on the grades you have now.

if you have good grades, and your a good student, who works hard. You will be treated the same. It’s a law that you have to except someone no matter what they are or have been though, “equality”, therefore, you have a right to be excepted!! (hopefully that helped you!) (=

It may be on your record, but that in no way will affect admission into a university. They will most likely look at the grades you made in CC.
