I would describe Corpus Christi as a big city with small town perks. With a population over 250,000, Corpus manages to teeter between your standard metropolis and your sleepy coastal community. There’s been a lot of development in recent years, so here’s to hoping we’re sitting on the cusp of an economic boom that will move CC into a position to rival other economically and socially successful cities within the state (Houston, San Antonio, Austin, etc.) To learn a little more about the city, I would encourage you to visit http://www.cctexas.com and/or http://www.corpuschristicvb.com/ .

As for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi: You can always learn more at the web site (http://www.tamucc.edu ) The campus itself currently boasts an enrollment of over 8,500 students. It is a South-Texas serving institution, so you will find that many of the students are from the Coastal Bend and surrounding area (though there are also many students that come from the farther reaches of the state, the country, and from around the world). The student population is predominantly students of Caucasian and Hispanic decent (this trend runs parallel to the general population make-up of South Texas), but there are also a growing number of African American, Asian, and Indian students who attend also.

I’ve included several links to assist you with any questions you may have regarding Texas A&M-Corpus Christi:

Also, as a transfer student, you should really look into getting in touch with the Academic Advising Transition Center. Dr. Jerilee Milligan, the university’s transfer admissions counselor, works with transfer students and can give you more information regarding transfer coursework and other concerns you may have as a prospective transfer student. You may contact her by e-mail at [email protected], or by phone at 361-825-2257.

Hope this information helps you and good luck with your decision!

521 miles by way of the main direct course by way of substantial hiways. Now the suited course for one guy or woman could no longer be the suited for yet another. i might take 287 to I-35 to I-37. yet that has the downside or traversing feet. well worth and San Antonio the two to be prevented at any time close to hurry hour. A extra adventurous guy or woman could pick 281 to San Antonio and then I-37. i will’t bore you with different attainable routings.
