should i take off a year from school to pursue my dream of modeling?

I am sure you recognize how competitive and grueling modeling can be. When you are young and beautiful, they love you. After the chew you up and run you ragged and don’t fit the profile of the current fashion needs…you’re toast. And that’s where your education can be your lifeboat.
So, I think it is better to go and try it….and if it works, SAVE, SAVE, SAVE for the day when you return to school. Live modestly…..and SAVE, SAVE, SAVE….so that when you do return to school, a modest life style won’t be a shock…and by the way, did I remind you to SAVE, SAVE, SAVE every penny and dime…because college costs will be rising.
One of the biggest tragedies in life is to sit and wonder “what if I had done that…..instead of this….???” So if the opportunity comes up…be ready to seize it….but be sure to have a Plan B tucked in your pocket just in case things don’t work out the way you thought.
Build your own lifeboat and be prepared if things go wrong. Don’t count on others to rescue you. Stand tall…be capable…be in control of your life. And when you are this empowered, you are in a position to help others if you choose to do so. Do this, and there is a very good chance you won’t have many regrets in your life.
Best wishes and good luck in your life.
