Should I pursue a career in physics in Canada?

Or is it too much work for too little gain. That is to say you endure very challenging schooling yet aren’t payed as much as a medical doctor or an engineer. (this is at least what I hear from people and many sources)

I have a passion for the universe though from the cosmos to the quantum world. But I also want to be a successful person that goes on big vacations, lives in a HOUSE with at least 2 floors, and OWNS A GRAND PIANO!!! And I don’t think a career in physics provides such. Does it?

Should I just major in physics and then switch to an engineering program?

Thanks.

Expect to make 60,000 – 120,000 as a physicist. You’ll probably need a PhD to do the kind of physics you’re talking about. It will take about 10 years of college to get to that point. It’s a lot of work – maybe not as much as being a doctor, but probably more than engineering – and it takes longer than either. Really, we don’t go into it for the money, we do it because that’s what we want to do.

Biology and chemistry instructors at the instant are not a dime a dozen. Getting a masters degree is a astonishing thought even with the undeniable fact that. while you’re making plans a coaching profession, it is going to be which you particularly prefer to instruct, no longer basically to have a activity that makes use of your degree. you may desire a level in coaching to qualify to be employed for a public college lecture room coaching place, yet you may take a level in coaching technology. In maximum places, a coaching degree on suitable of a B.Sc. could propose yet another 2 years in college, in spite of the shown fact that some provinces in Canada could enable you finished it in a single three hundred and sixty 5 days. perchance you may check out those possibilities by your college’s pupil centers.
