I am at the Rutgers-Newark Business School. The first poster gave a good suggestion but here is a better one. Do a double major in accounting/finance. Everyone is doing the double major because it gives you a broader background and then you can choose the concentration that you favor. Also, the double major will provide you with 150 credit requirement to become certified in New Jersey after you pass the CPA exam. The double major is a wise decision. Good luck!

What I did was get an undergrad degree in Accounting with a minor in economics. Later I went for my MBA with a concentration in Finance. I would recommend that you follow the same path because accounting will give you a broader background for overall business opportunities, plus you will have an understanding of finance as a result. You can always fine-tune with a different concentration should you go for a graduate degree later on.
