Should colleges that are advertised on tv be trusted?

I was just wondering if a college is advertised whether once or very often on tv(commercials) about how great it is, should be trusted or should feel suspicious about it?

It depends on the school, really. Often, during a football game you can see commercials for Notre Dame, the Big Ten confrence, and other schools that happen to be playing. Those schools are all just getting advertising through their programs. Schools like ITT, UPhoenix, etc. i’m a little wary of. I dont really trust those degrees or the commercials, which are actually more vocational than anything. Its up to you to make the distinction

I’ve seen all sorts of colleges advertising on TV. Some are very good, some aren’t. I’ve seen quite reputable schools show ads during times other than when their sports teams were playing.

Most…if not all…..of the “colleges” and “universities” advertixed on tv are not “real” and not the same as accredited colleges and universities in the mainstream! They tell you of an easy “flex path” and how good you and your kids will feel when they see you walking down the aisle to get a “diploma”! What kind of diploma? Well, not a real one….as legit colleges give out to graduates. Just watch these nutty…but smoothe….ads about all these wannabee colleges and see the gleeful “graduates” get their bogus degrees that won’t get them anywhere in life….certainly not a good job! They’re all about get the government to foot the bill so these poor bimbos can go to “college”….and then have to pay Uncle Sam back for what Uncle Same gave to these fakers! Boo on all these fake educational institutions….and for someone in the government not stopping them from fooling poor and unwise consumers!
