record label internship-college degree?

what kind of student is more likely to obtain a internship at a record label in terms of the degree they are studying and major/minor what would they be looking for??

I would try Marketing. When working for record labels and promoting bands/groups/artists, there is a tremendous amount of marketing involved. If, at the school you attend does not have a marketing program, look into Business Administration. Either of these degrees will help and ultimately an MBA will do wonders for your career. Good luck.
