proper excuse for missed class?
i’ve been seeing a chiropractor for neck/back problems and today was especially painful upon waking up. i probably COULD and should have made it to my morning class but instead put a heating pad on and hoped it’d get better by the afternoon, which it did. Well I had a 18 pt quiz in the morning and the only way it can be excused is with proper documentation. My next chiropractor appointment is tomorrow. I guess I’ll tell him what happened and ask him for proof of documentation. Do you think that will be good enough for the professor?

Yes, usually a medical documentation proof is enough to be excused from a quiz or class. Without proper proof, you can’t really tell if the student was truthful or lying.

That should be good enough for the teacher, yes. Usually, a note from a doctor is good back up.
As soon as you get it, try to contact the professor to explain, give her the note, and ask to schedule a make-up quiz immediately. Don’t delay the quiz.
