If you want to go to Vet school, you should take the same classes as someone who wants to go to Med School.

The list of best schools for someone who wants to become a Vet is pretty much the same as a list of the best schools period. The best school in Texas is Rice, followed by UT-Austin.

Incidently, Texas A&M is not the highest ranked Vet scvhool. Cornell is first, followed by UC-Davis and Colorado State. See the following link for more information.

You should be aware that there are only 28 Vet schools in the country — and they have residency requirements. It is the single hardest graduate program to get into. I actually know people who went to medical school because they couldn’t get into Vet school (another reason to study premed).

If you want ot become a Vet, you should be working for a Vet now — even if it is volunteer work.

There isn’t really a pre-vet degree. Texas A&M has the best Vet school in the US.
