political science/ public administration?

I’m a senior in high school and I’m interested in going into Political Science. One of the colleges that I’ve been accepted into has a political science/ public administration program.

What kind of jobs would I be able to get with this degree?

(i know obviously government, but what other opportunities would i have?)

Would it be my advantage to do this instead of the regular PS degree since it seems to me like it’s almost 2 degrees in 1?

I hoping that this would one day bring me to a big city (new york city?), with a nice job and making a good sum of money.

Any feed back from someone with a political science, a publican administration, or a ps/pa degree would be great! 🙂

Thanks!

I’m a political science major. I plan on using it to go to law school or get involved in (duh) politics. But a PoliSci/Public Administration major could probably be in a smaller scale leadership position perhaps judge, or Mayor.

i don’t think of the two is truly marketable, different than to tutor you’re a school graduate. different than assembly a school grad requirement (e.g., for coaching), maximum liberal arts majors are useful in basic terms as a stepping stone to a a great way better degree. in case you have the prefer to make funds with an undergraduate degree, think of engineering. otherwise, study what hobbies you so which you would be able to get severe grades besides as savour some time in college.
