Please tell me what “first class” and “second class, division one” etc. means?
Can someone please explain these terms and how they related to university grading?

For college, Division I, II, and III are terms used by the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) to describe the athletic programs at different colleges. Division I programs are at large or athletically competitive universities (major state universities, Notre Dame, etc.). Division I and II offer athletic scholarships, whereas Division III does not.
“First Class”, “World Class” etc are merely terms used to describe well respected programs – there aren’t standards for this, nor is there some organization that certifies a college as first class or second class.
