Physics professor problem?
My physics professor explains modern physics concepts using nothing but powerpoints, never giving ANY example problems at all. He just basically derives all the formulas in a slideshow. We’re then expected to go and do homework assignments based on these ‘lectures’. The textbook is simply insufficient to completely teach this course, and I’m having serious problems understanding most of the material. The textbook doesn’t help much.
Also, this professor is the only one currently teaching the course, so a change isn’t possible. He’s also been teaching it for a few years, so changing his method of instruction isn’t a option either.
What can I do?
