The schools that I have talked with said that if you don’t have at least a 3.8 GPA, you will not be considered competitive.
Usually there are 2-3 years of prerequisites, depending on your starting level in math and sciences…
…then it’s 3-4 years of Pharmacy School, depending on where you go to school. The 3 year programs are year round, intensive programs.
approx. 6 years if you do two years of pre-requisites and 4 years of pharmacy school. (some schools have 3 year pre-req programs)
approx. 8 years if you get a B.S. degree first, then attend pharmacy school.
The best thing to do is talk to a college admissions counselor at whatever school your looking at. Good luck 🙂
