You actually need to get an MD (Medical Degree), and then specialize in OB/Gyn. So looking at schools, you’re looking at a pre-med major, and then you need to get accepted to Medical School and it will all fall into place there.

Good Luck! That’s a long tough road!

Here are some general facts:

Ob/Gyn go to school for 8 years (4 earning a Bachelors in Pre Med. & 4 at Medical School)

Ob/Gyn then go on to 4 years of Residency

Ob/Gyn don’t start their career until after the 12 years of school they encounter are done (Generally 30 yrs. old)

Ob/Gyn can work up to 2 back to back 12 hour shifts

… So this is definatly a career you have to REALLY want to do in order to be able to fulfill all of the requirments but definatly worth it in the end when your yearly salary is $125k +. But try searching on Ask.com and Google.com with these titles: “how to become an ob/gyn,” “requirments to becoming an ob/gyn,” and just “ob/gyn.”

Good luck!
