My university is no longer associated?

When i started my architectural course last year, i was assured that my university was RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) certified, which meant that when i finished my degree i would be able to practice anywhere in europe or the former common wealth knowing that my degree would be accepted without the need for an equivilency examination. I have now found out, in the last quarter of my second year, that my university is no longer RIBA certified for various reasons.

what should my recourse be toward the university as i feel that they are now in breach of contract and i am due some form of remuneration, not necessarily monetory, but at least an acknowledgement of my distress.

I must mention that i am studying in South Africa and european recognition of my is vital as a back up.

Are you absolutely sure it WAS certified when you started? Check with RIBA and verify. If they have since lost certification, I would say cut your losses and transfer to a school that is certified.
