Med School question?
I’m a sophmore in highschool right now and I want to know if anything I do now (volunteer, etc) would help me get into a good med school. Or do they only look at your undergrad activities?

Undergrad activities are always good. Anything you do now while you are young weather it helps you get into a good school or not will be very good for you to do and you will learn a lot which will make undergrad and med school much easier for you.
Some advise would be for now to get an anatomy book, and medical terminology, those are things you will learn early on in your education but they will always be very important and if you already know it before undergrad, you will be way more advanced and it will make learning everything else that goes with it so much easier. Good luck with your education, i’m sure you will do just fine.

The best thing you can do now is get a good High School education. Take the toughest science and math courses you can find – especially Chemistry.
If possible, transfer to a school offering an IB (International Baccalaureate) diploma.

Yes, do as much volunteering as you possibly can. When you get into college getting involved in a Fraternity that does a lot of volunteer work (not a social fraternity or sorority) also helps. If you get mediocre grades in college (more B’s than A’s or C’s or lower) your MCAT scores may save you and get you admitted.
