You could do a whole “Ripley’s believe it or not” theme by posting unbelievable facts with pictures on boards

Example:One lady had her husband’s ashes made into an egg timer so that even in death he can still “help” in the kitchen.

It would definitely be interesting for your residents and plus they could make some great topic starters. Good Luck 🙂

College was a few years ago for me….and.. miracuously I do remember some bulletin boards. One that really stands out in my mind is some wrappers from the vending machine—how many calories, such small content, such high paper waste and how they weren’t worth it. Something silly or cute,i.e. a big picture of Snoopy or Hello Kitty, an American Idol—- because college is a great time to discover your inner child. Or you could put up a suggestion box for floor events or “crazy” sweepstakes—win something wacky. Some college themes might be study tips, get along with roomate, campus safety, nutrition.
