Joining A Class After The First Week?????

basicly, its a specialty program that i’m trying to get into. its a emt-training/certification class. and well, its only part 1, but being able to get into this class will make the diffrence of me spending one more extra year at my school….

since its a health-ocupation class. it requires a background check, and placement test. which i’m fine on both.

im hoping they’ll let me join, and i can still turn in my paperwork

and the class is only 2 times per week. and i think the 2nd session is tommarow night, so tommarow morning i’m going to try and talk to whomever i need to to get in……its also the first week of class anyways

I was debating on doing this class, or taking a pharmacy internship, i did a job shadow for a week, and realized that pharmacy was not for me.but by the time i realized that.i had allready missed the deadline

so basicly,,,,i’m just wondering, whats the likeyness, that i’ll be able to get into this kinda class? i obviously allready missed the registration

Sounds more of an administrative issue. It’s hard to say either way. Some schools observe strict guidelines on registration cut offs and such. In my experience, the instructor does not really mind allowing someone to join a class a little late but unless you’re officially enrolled you will not receive credit.

It depends on the teacher … when I was in college I found most will let you add especially if there are open spaces in the class. If there’s already a waiting list though with people who’ve been attending from the beginning, then most likely not.
