Is this ok?
Is it okay to take a year off after high school then go to college? Also, can you get into a good college if you have A’s and B’s for grades.

Yea, plenty of people take time after high school to figure out what they want to do. You can travel, work, anything you want to do. As and Bs sound like pretty good grades to me. Every college has different requirements, but you definitely won’t have a problem getting accepting into most colleges.

As long as you dont lose your momentum and take more than that, you should be ok. If you’re worried about your highschool grades, you could take a year at a community college and get A’s there by taking the stuff you’re good at. They also have career counselors who can help you sort things out and figure out what you want to do if you don’t yet know.

Actually, I personally did that exact thing. What helped me alot was to get a job in a factory and then into food service, trust me, after seeing those as your future without college, you will be more motivated than any freshman in the place. A’s and B’s are just fine for a good college too.
