intro to chem or college chem?

very little chemistry background..is general college chem that much harder than intro to chem?

Depends on the strength of your math skills. Basic chemistry is primarily formulas and equations. It’s not until you get into higher chemistry such as organic that the focus switches more to reactions and chemical structure.

Depends on your major. I took the college, but that is for science majors (I majored in chem). My brother took intro to chem and he was a business major. Some colleges don’t even have you take a lab for the intro to chem. The other one definately has at least a 3 hour lab. Also the gen chem has alot of math where the other uses the concepts more.

Flash cards really help me. Put everything you need to know on a flash card and learn them by using 4 or 5 at a time then study them all together while taking the ones you know out of the pile. Hope this helps!
