In college, is it possible to have 2 minors?

I know it is possible to have 2 majors but is it possible to have 2 minors instead of 2 majors?

Yes, it’s very possible, especially considering that two minors will sometimes require fewer classes than an additional major. I’m getting minors in both French and Psychology with a major in business and should be able to graduate with those (I still have two more years).

I think you can, so long as you have time to complete them. I started out with 1 major and 1 minor and ended up with 2 majors and 1 minor. So I really don’t think 2 minors would be impossible given that it takes less coursework.

It depends on the policies of the university. Some universities allow you to have 2 minors, or 2 concentrations, or 2 specializations, while others limit it to 1 minor.

Talk to a college counselor. What do you want to end up doing after college and do you really need both minors to accomplish it. To do it all in four years would depend on how many credits you could handle per semester and how many class requirement would over lap for your major and two minors.

Yes but most universities what you to have at least one major. Therefore if you have 1 major and 2 minors, the workload may be very high unless they are extremely interrelated.

Yes, you can major and minor in as many fields as you like, assuming that particular college (i.e. College of Business) will accept you.
