If I wanna sign up for student activities in college, where do I go?
Ok, I’m a freshman and I’m still learning the ropes. I saw posters of student activities but they didn’t tell me how to sign up. I would need some of that on my grad school applications so I’ll need as many answers as possible. Thanks.

At my school they had open house type activity for all of the groups so you could go by their table and tey would tell you how to join. The group I was in you justed signed up and they told you when the first meeting was. We had dues and those could be paid at the first meeting. What really looks impressive and I am sure you know this is having leadership in an orginization. Some do allow freshmen to have leadership roles.

Lots of organizations have “call-outs” where they have a meeting when they tell you what they’re about and how to join. If you don’t see posters for anything like that, check your school’s website to see if there is a student activities office. They may list webpages of different groups that might have events calendars, or you could just go to that office and see if they can give you more info on different groups. Have fun!

Also check with the student activity/community center on campus. They may have a bulletin board or info center for you to gather what you are interested in.
