If I major in Economics, is it possible to go to a college specialized in business afterwards…?
Ok, so I decided to major in economics @ U of I and decided not to apply for the business school. Was that a smart move? I mean, i can always go to a business school afterwards like NYU or Columbia..to get a degree in international business right/business administration/marketing? How would I go about doing this? Should I even go for the Econ major? Should I have switched into the business school? Please help!

Good luck with Economics. You have several options avaliable to you. You can study for a minor. This minor can be anything from business and marketing to political science. You can dual major. Depending upon the course load out, you can graduate with a dual degree (BS)in (business) and economics. Downside is this will probaly take about five years. After you graduate, you could pursue a business degree at a diffrent university. This will take between two and five years depending if you pursue a BS or graduate degree. Or you can always change your major. Either way talk to your academic advisor. Good Luck.
