I want to major in english education could anyone help me find a college.?
Or even give me an idea what to look for. I’m going to be a senior in high school and I really need to start getting plans for me and what I want to do when i graduate.

i want to be an english teacher too. i live in New York so im planning on applying to SUNY schools. i think ill also apply to Temple University in Philadelphia. you should go on collegeboard.com to look at schools in your area that have a teaching program. its will either say Secondary Education: english or english teacher education. other sites to go on are sparknotes.com, and princetonreview.com

It’d be REALLY helpful if you gave additional information: where you live, whether you want to stay close to home or go far away, whether financial aid is necessary, what type of college (large, small, public, private, etc.) you are looking for, and what types of grades/scores you have.
That being said, assuming you want to teach high school or junior high, you would major in Secondary Education: English or English Education–different schools call it different things, but each major should be focused on helping you get certified as a teacher.
