I want to go to NYU?

My dream college is NYU. I think I can do well as far as getting a 4.0 and a good SAT score but I am worried about the extra curricular activitiy aspect of the submission.

I am planning to join the French Club and play tennis but I am horrible at other sports… What can extra things outside of school to put on my application, so I will look good to NYU.

I am a freshman. and any other tips would be great…

Volunteering in a social cause of interest is always a good sign of a students character. Tutoring disadvantaged kids in the lower levels of school is also a good thing to be able to list as well as a good thing to do even if it doesn’t help you out in admissions. Being involved with youth centers such as boys and girls club of america is a great way to mentor children one at a time. Bring them to cultural events such as plays or civic concerts. This shows not only character, civil awareness, but cultural appreciation of the arts. That’s another plus for NYU. Good luck.
