dont worry. what you should focus on is getting into a great undergrad program, because med schools don’t look at your high school performance. but they do care how you do in undergrad and which college you went to. so with those grades apply to a great small school where you can do your best!!

i can’t tell you which colleges will accept you w/o your SAT scores… but from the looks of it, you can get into some pretty prestious schools. aim high!

Med schools won’t see your high school grades, they’ll only care about the work you’ve done as an undergraduate. When you’re applying to undergraduate programs, try to find one that has a strong science department that offers many oppertunities for research. Research experience will really help you! Also, try to volunteer at a local hospital while you’re in college.

Are your SATs good? If they are you should be fine. Plus, you just need to get into a decent college and do extremely well there, and then that’s what med school will look at.

The University of Georgia plans to start a medical school; but you could probably get into Emory undergrad if your SATs are OK.

My brother is currently in Med School (his 3rd year). First you have to do pre-med. He majored in Biology. Then from your first 4 years, that will show the schools you apply to if you can make it there and are to their standards. My brother graduated with the highest you can get from his Pre-Med school. And he’s still making high grades.

If you’re worried, talk to your guidance counselor. That’s what they are there for.

You need a 4-year degree to apply to medical schools. The medical schools will not look at your high school transcript.

Your record actually sounds pretty good. Just start applying to all the colleges you want to go to. I feel pretty confident that you will be accepted by at least a few of them.
