I’m effing bored in freshmen dorms. What’s a good way to have fun and meet people?

It’s after midnight and we’re fukcing bored here. We just moved in, too, so none of us knows people well enough to do stuff. Religious campus that’s pretty strict on shite, so right now drinking’s not an option. What are some ways to freaking socialize with people?

Haha, Rotor, you really think that’s what religious colleges are like? Lol. On the surface, maybe, but underneath there’s kids that have been told NOT to do all that **** their whole lives, and no they’re away, they’re going to do it whether the college allows it or not. They’re just more creative about doing it.

Nebulous, just be patient for now. Everyone’s awkward at this point so don’t force anything. Once classes start you’ll know more where people stand on different matters, so you won’t make the mistake of trying to party hard with like, a Menonite. Now just play games with the people you do know and do it where a bunch of other people are – when you’re having fun and laughing, other people’ll come over, usually. Best of luck.

Well, you really limited yourself by going to a religious school.

I guess you could always get a prayer group together, read some scriptures and s**t.

No sex, no parties, no drinking, no classes yet…you are screwed! Don’t worry, in a few days you will meet people to get together to pray with.
